What is Peer Support?

Peer Specialists are people who are trained to use their own recovery experiences to help empower and encourage others who are living with mental health or substance use disorders. Peer support services are considered “evidence based” and are “a critical pathway” to living a satisfying, hopeful, and contributing life.

What We Have to Offer

Intensive Outpatient Services

An intensive outpatient course consisting of group therapy combined with individual therapy. Intensive outpatient provides coping skills, positive networks, and stepping stones for a better recovery.

Partial Hospitalization

A Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is a day-to-day treatment level of outpatient care. PHP treatment typically takes place five days a week for four hours a day and includes group therapy, medication management, and levels of family work. PHP will usually last 30 to 45 days at the max.

Individual Therapy

One-on-one work with our skilled therapists to create a treatment plan catered to your needs. We have a compassionate team that strives to provide you with a unique therapy experience to help you reach your goals.

Supportive Group

Once a week we offer a supportive group for individuals wanting to continue working on their substance abuse and mental health coping skills in a group setting. This service allows more time flexibility and is a favorable option for those with busy schedules.

At Peer Solutions, we accept ALL Ohio Medicaid insurance and most commerical insurances.

Peer Solutions offers cash pay options, or we can have a staff member assist you in seeing if you qualify for medical insurance through the state of Ohio.

Peer Solutions works in partnership with medical providers who can assess your needs and prescribe the appropriate medications. This includes, but isn’t limited to, MAT and mental health medications.

While we do treat individuals with co-occurring disorders, our primary speciality is Substance Use Disorder.

Individuals seeking treatment for Substance Use Disorder that have already been detoxed or individuals that do not require medical detox.

Peer Solutions’ Outpatient Program allows individuals the opportunity to have employment and stay connected with family while experiencing the full benefits of intensive treatment.

Services are offered daily Monday-Friday with Peer Support offered everyday of the week. Our program is a 6 month minimum program.

Once our program is completed, clients will have the tools needed to maintain their sobriety and will have access to a supportive recovery community. Clients will be employed, and will be able to transition to safe housing. Peer Support services will be offered while clients adjust to to life outside of the recovery program.
